Sounds like the user got a lot of flack!

To live, any organism has to eat other organisms... animals or plants. Just a fact of life and one that should clue in militant vegans that people are intended to eat both animals and plants.

Obviously mankind was meant to be an omnivore but meat is easily available and relatively cheap these days so many people eat far too much of it for their own good.
Not too far in the past meat was hard to come by so even though it was eagerly consumed when available its scarcity insured that not too much was eaten. It was self limiting by the environment itself.
