Pearls?

Does anyone know which color gene or combination makes the different pearls in angora breeds? I have ARBA's standard for French angoras for the description but wanted to know how those colors are achieved.<br /><br />__________ Sat Apr 07, 2012 8:00 pm __________<br /><br />I think angora pearl colors are considered "shaded"... Does that mean it is an "ee" / non-extension?

Do you mean colours like smoke-pearl? If so then smoke-pearl is a shaded colour. It is not necessarily non-extension though, shadeds are the product of various chinchilla genes. Torts and reds are the products of non extension.
