Peanut Kit?

Hey, my rabbit had some babies on the morning of June 3rd. I noticed when I checked them that there was 2 very thin babies and one of them was very small. The one I believe to be a peanut passed this evening after I’d tried everything to help it live. I supplemented feedings twice a day, helped it latch to the mother, and checked up on it all the time but it just seemed to stay the same weight. It’s belly never seemed to bulge or fill up with milk like it’s siblings and it seemed to have a difficult time nursing. Does anyone think that this could have possibly been a peanut?
The other baby is slightly bigger that the peanut one and latches fine it’s siblings just seem to push it out of the way during feedings so I help it along as well. He does get quite plump but I’m worried about him passing as well. Is there anything else I can do? Is he possibly a peanut as well? I don’t have any photos of this bunny yet. I’ll take some tomorrow for everyone to see. I just want to know that I’m helping these buns the best I can!

Yeah I was looking at photos and thinking the same. Not sure why he just wouldn’t eat, and then when I got him to by holding him on mama he would stop and fall asleep before getting filled up

Sometimes kits are born unhealthy or weak and mom abandons them. Losses happen, it’s a sad reality. I had 4 deaths in my first 3 litters. One babe was trampled (mom had 10 kits), and my other doe gave birth to 3 stillborn (mom had 8 kits). Finally my last doe gave birth to 5 healthy kits all survived. I buried the dead babies in my vegetable garden where their bodies will be honoured by returning to the soil to nourish the plants; the fruit will nourish our bodies
