The Cal kits born Halloween night are 2 weeks old and have their eyes open and are eating alfalfa hay occassionally. I had to move them to a shed outside last night, snuggled in a half a bale of hay in a old dog kennel. I checked on them this morning, and all 5 kits were snuggled together on the dirt floor by the mom. Are they old enough to leave the nest?

Ok, thanks, I just thought they were so small. Thankfully last night was mild, and today is nice.
Hubby decided everybunny needs to move out... even Baby Bertha. So, out they go :(

What you could do is to stuff a cardboard box with hay and cut a couple of kit-sized holes in the sides. They will have endless fun with it and can go inside and huddle up if they feel cold. By the time it is demolished, they likely will not need extra protection since they are in a shed.
