Ok I bred my mini Rex does......

The 28th day is Sunday and I haven't been able to tell if either of the does took but when I got them out last night I could noticeably feel their nipples is this a sign that they are pregnant?

At this point in their pregnancies, you *should* be able to feel the kit's bodies by pressing gently into the doe's abdomen with your fingers. Have you tried that?

Nope! They will be perfectly fine....just lay your fingers against her belly and press in gently...you should feel firm little parts that move away from you as you press.

Felt the same way as you about palpating. Afraid I'd hurt potential babies. I didn't with my Doe, who was a first time Mom. But I did feel her nipples become more prominent. And at exactly 31 days, she had 4. I figured 36 days wasn't long to wait to see if she was or wasn't. If she wasn't, I would have just rebred her.

Glad to know that you can't hurt the babies when palpating though.
