OH MY GOSH can you believe this?!?!

My only buck, Thomas, died this morning. He wouldn't eat the night before, and by morning he was just... dead.

Well, I contacted the previous owner, also my friend, and she said that yesterday, his daughter died of the EXACT SAME THING. How weird is that?!?!? :x :!: :| What the heck!

Odd... and, of course, sad, but it is probably just coincidence. A lot of rabbits go suddenly like that with the only clue being loss of appetite.

Thank you everyone, it did really upset me. 1. He was a great buck who got the job done easily. 2. He produced absolutely gorgeous kits. 3. He had great lines and had lots of chinchilla in there. 4. He was just, overall, a good buck.

With my flea problem, I can't get another buck. And no, he was not anemic, he was already done with fleas.

Can instant oats kill a rabbit?

Instant oats are not the best, but I doubt very much they would kill a rabbit. Do you have any of his sons that you can grow out to replace him?
