Nutria is listed as a self color of rex on the BRC's standards page. It's described as a golden brown, but what is it genetically?

Hmmm... how are they getting pure white sallanders or are they referring to another genotype under self and ermine?

Nutria might just be chocolate :?

Except if it is then what is havana? Rich, dark chocolate with ruby tinted eyes?

Havana is chocolate... talking to some other people they all say is Nutria is extinct (or if not extinct, then pretty near it). But what was it? Somebody said that it was like the cinnamon color in cats... another allele in the b gene... but then I think people would've tried to breed it in more than just rex, and that it wouldn't have gone extinct so easily... I'm stuck.

Yea that's what I thought of from the title. Nutria are big pest rodents. I want some.
