🤬😵‍💫😭🤬
So tiring trying to use ground anchors. They're all a b*tch and honestly, impossible for me to get right. Idk why nor do I care.
I'm going back to what I always end up using, tposts. Just gotta buy 6 more, found 2 and there's 2 more I can pull up and reuse. Will put one for every single leg. They'll go on the inside so not to be in the way of the walls.

Gotta go up another block to be level broadside....Do I really want to bother...Maybe I'll shovel out the other side instead...ugh.

20×36ft? Tposts keeping it from flying away. Other carports, tposts. Temp shelters, tposts. Shade tarps, tposts. Idk, they seem to work and boy are they easy to get in!

😵‍💫 Va weather is absurd. Freezing at night, 80s and no clouds during the day. 😵‍💫

That...uh, is it too high on that side now?? 🤦🏽‍♀️

Half of the tposts are in! One cable attached.

I realized that i need to cut these trees back. Gotta do that before the roof goes on...
20241030_132842.jpg
And the indoor raining all carports do....I wonder if there's diy spray insulation??

Put them in even deeper after the pic, 5ft posts, 3ft in ground.

Lost that rod...and now i remember what happened to the last one. The crap metal the duckbill is made of fails and the rod goes through it, getting stuck. 🙄

Nice n deep! Need a bit more cable to finish securing it.
20241030_173646.jpg20241030_174143.jpg
Got a panel up. Realized that I need to do some shimming....
20241030_182009.jpg20241030_182010.jpg
Oh, and cut those trees tomorrow!

Did I mention that I'm afraid of heights? 😵‍💫🫠 Yeah..............

Almost done with the metal! One wall left. Then I'll start the diy walls/doors.
I knew the tree would hit the building, an impossible drop with the frame already up. 🫣 But no damage, so we're good.

Dug up my scavenged plywood, wood and composite decking. Hope to be able to buy as little as possible.

Metal is done! 😵
Have enough left over to give the 2nd building 1/3 metal walls.
20241103_131917.jpg

I'll use the bottom grey panels to close off that low end at some point.
Thinking of using metal cable in an X to brace the ends. It wobbles and that bothers me.

Blocked off bc sheep are disgusting and destructive.

Cleaned out the outdoor growout pen, filled 9 bags!

And first timer Gilt had her kits! 7 kit, sire Rivian. Nothing better than an excellent first time momma!

And this guy was born. They'll be in the incomplete rabbit building until I feel he's strong enough to be out permanently without being locked up at night or on rainy days.
Still working on the structure, so hopefully it'll be done when he's moved out.

Kicked the kits out, but put their nest bottoms in.
Then Quincy got her nest. 3 Rex does got bred, G was not in the mood. Ugh. So, mutt kits again...

Another update on that cruddy ped sf doe. Flyback fur. 😑
One of their main breed characteristics, missing. 🤦🏽‍♀️

Well, that was it. A furry lost single. Goliath was super willing and so was she, so hoping for more and live kits next time.

Got new metal pails and spray paint for them. Hopefully that'll make them last longer than a year.
