So my daughter got this doe a while ago and at first i thought there was no way she was a mini rex. Well we weighed her and she is 6 pounds. She was a pet so well feed to lol. Anyway compared next to my mini rex buck u would think she is a 10 pound rabbit lol. The pair is very cute anyway LOL

She is cute! I had a pedigreed MR once that was close to 6 pounds, she was a big ole girl

I've got 2 big ones they are around 5 lbs but produce really nice and good sized kits:)
And I have got to add I LOOOOOOVVVVVEEEE the buck He is beautiful. So so beautiful!!!!!!:)

yup from my understanding with the mini's you sometimes get "b.u.d."s.. "big ugly does" is what show people seem to call em. just like you get some peanuts in litters (2 dwarfs genes), then you get true dwarfs (1 dwarf gene), you sometimes get "BUDs" that didn't get a dwarf gene. so they end up about 5-6.5lb.

Thanks guys she is my daughters new project. Plans to work retaining a doe out of each generation. So she can show the off spring. Will take about 2 yrs but its a good project for her.
