I have two chin does that I was going to take to a show in the middle of February. One of the does is molting and although I keep grooming her, there is still quite a bit of old hair on her. It's seeming to take forever, and it's very noticeable in the chin satins with an apparent line between old and new coat. My question is, should I take her to the show anyway to get comments on her type or is that a bad thing to do. Also, is there anything I could do to speed up the molting process?

middle of February is a ways away yet... two weeks. The coat could completely finish blowing out by then. :)

And if your doe is good enough... she'll still win her class. :)

Every Rabbit has just as much of a chance of winning
on any given day. Chances are, if your Rabbit is in molt,
many of the others will be too. I say: Take your Rabbit
and let the fur fly where it may!
