New to harvesting do these lungs look OK?

I've harvested my first rabbits, and I'm not sure about how the lungs look. The livers all look fine to me, but I can't decide if the lungs are "yellowish" or just "pale". They look more pink in this photo than they did in person. Would any of your more experienced folks please take a look at these two sets of lungs and let me know if you think the meat will be safe or not? For additional info, please note that the rabbits were dispatched with a .22 pellet to the brain at close range, and then hung up and bled within 30 seconds. Not sure if that matters or not, but I thought perhaps the lungs looked pale because the rabbit had been thoroughly bled. Is that a thing?

Lung tissue is typically pale pink. The bottom pic looks like the lungs experienced some trauma maybe, during evisceration or even during dispatch.

They look normal to me. The darker areas show up more or less depending on how much internal bleeding happened in/around the lungs.

Thank you very much for taking time to reply, and help out. My wife and I have been very excited about our tiny homesteading activities, and I sure didn't want to poison us right out of the gate!

They look normal to me. The darker areas show up more or less depending on how much internal bleeding happened in/around the lungs.

Yeah, looks normal to me too.

I had some instances when some blood got into the lungs, inhaled blood with the last breath (oversized captive bolt gun), didn't look that perfect, but it doesn't matter.

There is no way to poison anyone. If you just observe basic kitchen hygiene there is no risk with rabbits. Even sick ones.
