New(ish) buck getting skinny

So this HL buck I got a bit over two months ago is getting really thin, he dropped some weight in quarantine which I attributed to stress of moving and whatnot. I was checking the herd last night after a trip and he is scary thin, like feel every bone skinny. But no pot belly and has a great appetite and seems otherwise normal. Should I put him back on the feed the breeder used, just wait for him to gain weight or treat for parasites?

I would treat for parasites, since waiting for him to gain weight on the other feed could allow his system to be overwhelmed with parasites, if he has them. If he still doesn't gain, then I'd change his feed.
