New born with swollen leg

I think I already know the answer to my question but I just thought I would ask just in case. One of my new born kits has a swollen leg. The swelling goes from the hip to the tip of the toes. I am talking very swollen...the leg is stick straight. I am guess there is nothing I can do for the little guy. I dont want him to suffer

I'd be looking very carefully to see if there is a reason for it.

If there is no reason I'd be tempted to leave it a day to see if it will decrease in size. But look him over very carefully... anything tight or twisted that could cause swelling? Any bite marks from a spider or anything?

Won't hurt him to leave it a day, but otherwise cull him.
