I would say maybe we could meet at a halfway point, but that would be about 6-7 hours for both of us to and back

No, I think he's about 5 months now so he'll probably grow a little bit more.
Even so, it's usually safer to have a bigger Doe than the Buck so that the kits wouldn't be too big for her
