Nesting

I notice one of my doe making a haystache at 18 days after mating. I already gave her a nest box.

When I brought her to my buck before, she was mated several times within the day. Successful matings, the buck always fell over (always makes me laugh, don't know why ).

Now, I'm thinking that it might be false pregnancy and I'm debating if I should mate her again. I also read here somewhere, that some does already makes her nest 2 weeks before kindling.

I'm terrible at palpating so is there anyway to know if its just false pregnancy?

Not without palpitating Sorry

I have a doe who nests early, usually around the 16 day mark and I had a doe have a false pregnancy who made a nest on day 27

With a false pregnancy, they usually nest at 11-14 days or so. REALLY early. Have you TRIED to palpate? It isn't as hard as it seems....take a look at this:

Thanks for this, I'm really trying to get my hands on as much rabbit books that I can find. Trying to learn all I can.

I tried palpating her again. she feels rounded on her belly and I think I felt "grape" like embryo's in there. Hopefully, its really embryo and I'll have bunnies soon. She's a first time mom.
