I notice one of my doe making a haystache at 18 days after mating. I already gave her a nest box.

When I brought her to my buck before, she was mated several times within the day. Successful matings, the buck always fell over (always makes me laugh, don't know why :D ).

Now, I'm thinking that it might be false pregnancy and I'm debating if I should mate her again. I also read here somewhere, that some does already makes her nest 2 weeks before kindling.

I'm terrible at palpating so is there anyway to know if its just false pregnancy?

Thanks!

Not without palpitating :( Sorry

I have a doe who nests early, usually around the 16 day mark and I had a doe have a false pregnancy who made a nest on day 27

Thanks for this, I'm really trying to get my hands on as much rabbit books that I can find. Trying to learn all I can.

I tried palpating her again. she feels rounded on her belly and I think I felt "grape" like embryo's in there. Hopefully, its really embryo and I'll have bunnies soon. She's a first time mom. :)
