It's strange that no one has any within decent driving distance of here. I do have a breeder for show in my neighborhood but they seem to rarely have any for sale. Also in Geneva there is a breeder but after a couple emails they don't seem to ever have any either. Years ago (10) they were everywhere. A person texted me yesterday in West Palm Beach but thats a bit far. But I will keep you in mind.

I'm sorry you're having such a hard time finding stock. Do the local TSCs have chickenswaps? It seems like everyone around here does about 1x a month. Usually someone shows up with some rabbits, may not be exactly what you're looking for but they may know where you can find them. Lots of feedstores have somewhere were they allow people to post adds, you could post a want add there or even just ask the people who work there if they know a breeder. Check the ARBA website to find any upcoming rabbit shows, isn't the state fair in the spring? You're local extension office will have information about local 4-H shows. Local highschool Ag teachers may also know breeders nearby. We found our first pair at a livestock auction. Good luck on the hunt. In the future, we make the trip to your area (gainesville, panama city, p-cola or boco) about twice a year and we should be able to bring down 1 or 2 of our NZW kits if everything goes well this spring (crosses fingers)

Is John T. Neff the breeder in Geneva you tried to contact? He used to travel to shows frequently, not sure if he still does:

Yes Neff was the name, And I have had so much trouble with Tractor Supply here that I would be glad for it to close completely. It caused 2 independant feed stores to close that would get about anything you ever needed, and then began to raise prices. I have ads on Craigslist out to 100 miles from here with no responses. I already have 40 NZ and 1 Cali buck, I'm trying to update my herd and also Bred some Smuts (NZ x Cali's ) for the body size.

you may wana try hoobly.com they seem to get em on there in my area frequently so maybe you will have luck in your area
