Need info on putting rabbits down

I do not know much about a snake...but I would think they would not care...unless it was a real mess...

I guess the concern is really more for the potential need for clean-up in the snake's habitat, which wouldn't be outside in the grass... I guess if you hosed the blood off of the rabbit after it bled out, that might work out. But for you, really, cervical dislocation or oxygen displacement is probably going to be the least bloody. I would think oxygen displacement would be expensive, but I don't know.

Some wildlife rehabbers are using argon and nitrogen combination instead of Co2. seems these inert gasses trick the body into thinking there is still Oxygen in the air-- the animal does not suffer the distress it does with CO2

I donated a little girl to the local raptor rehab just today after she broke her back. This is what they use. Made me feel a little better to know she went this way and wouldn't go to waste. There's a lot of debate on this, but after observation of the use of straight CO2, the animals do not look distressed in my experience and it's the way I want to go. Shooting them is problematic for me since I live in a densely populated area, and I don't trust my strength/ability for bopping or dislocating or other methods.
