I do have the strips but if I have the dosage right that would be 1-2 strips per rabbit!

OneAcreFarm recommends one strip per rabbit. I have never used them- I proactively bought a liquid herbal remedy for colicky infants, but so far have had no need for it.

I'm glad to hear they seem to be doing a little better.

Just in case chilling is a factor, I would put some type of bedding in there for them. Hay piled in a corner of the cage, or in a cardboard box will do.

I personally give my kits empty cat litter jugs with hay in them and they really enjoy them. I think it makes them feel safe to have somewhere to hide. However, if it is very hot and humid where you are that may not work in your situation.

Thanks MSD and OneAcreFarm. Went out to check alittle while ago and to pull the grey does box for the day and she had not fed them. Darn it! Something else.
Let me see....
Spice the little girl goat we been trying to figure out what the heck is wrong was doing great is now backsliding for the third time. What is WRONG with this goat?! :wall: :help: We did start the treatments again but ?????
Second- Bunnies get sick and lost 5. :weep:
Third- We just had the heat pump a/c system replaced and its not working properly and keeps icing up. The old one died and we spent the last 2 summers with very little A/C so we get a new one and of course we still don't. It maintained 80 yesterday but we had to keep checking to be sure it wasn't freezing up.
And thats not all!!! It all makes me feel like :runhills: (sigh) Oh well :?

__________ Thu Jun 13, 2013 11:37 am __________

Oh! I forgot the best part! The other day it had been raining so I was going out to check and see if my doe had kindled yet and I didn't fall down the steps....I flew over them and missed them all and landed on my right side at the bottom! OOOWWWWIE!!!! Just some real doosies of bruses, thank God and boy am I stiff! Whew!
Yep! Tommorrow IS another day and hopefully bring some good news for a change. :)

Thank you MaggieJ. I hope so. :)

I'm going to lose all the one litter plus when this is over I'll have to disinfect eveything. So I was wondering what everybodies favorite disinfectant is and how long before I use these cages again.
They were supposed to be for my new American blues and Am. white rabbits after bunny season was over. Hope I don't lose all my rabbits.

__________ Thu Jun 13, 2013 3:19 pm __________

Amy, I am so sorry you are experiencing this. Keep up with the Probios, Gas X, hay, oats, etc. Massage their bellies and get them moving. I am not sure the ABX is necessary, but as long as you give it, give Probios. Electrolyte solution should be forced on any that aren't drinking. {{{{hugs}}}}

So sorry to hear about your string of bad luck on your farm. I hope things turn for the better soon.
We don't have rabbits yet but I find bleach works really well when cleaning the dogs toys and crates. Just use it at the same strength they reccomend for babies toys. Dunk what you can in a 5 gallon bucket for feeders and water bottles. Then use a spray bottle and a scrub brush for the cages.

Thank you OneAcreFarm and LilacGal. I lost all my french lop/cal cross bunnies. They were so sweet! :weep: The grey does litter 2 might survive, no diarrhea this morning and acting ok.
Question-Grey doe just had 10 babies on the 10th so I know they were exsposed but they are still doing ok but the mother didn't feel well yesterday and didn't feed them well at all so I gave them goats milk to tied them over and sure enough she jumped right in there this morning. :D She didn't have alot of milk but better than yesterday and she is eating today. What is the best recommendation for her to try to save this litter? Should I disinfect her cage and things? Any herbs that might help that can boost her and the litters immune systems?
I'm really hoping this litter survives.

__________ Fri Jun 14, 2013 10:45 am __________

OK goofy question- how do I add Update to my thread title?
