Nanowrimo is a 'competition' to write a 50k novel in 30 days. You can get a better understanding here: http://www.nanowrimo.org It's a lot of fun, though admittedly, I haven't succeeded in all the years I've been trying. However, I'm unemployed and not going to school this year so there's no reason for me to fail!

Yes, I plan on doing it! This will be my fourth year, with previous years 50K+ (1 and 2) and 19K (3). Hoping to get my third win. I think I've written dystopia, urban fantasy, and fantasy previously? This year I'm doing dark comedy/horror.

Man I wish I could finish a novel in under a month. Everyone I've done to this point have averaged about 6 months each to finish. This sounds like a neat contest.
