They are adorable! I dunno what it is, but when I see their little faces and those ears, I always think of Yoda

Now to find a doe. These boys have black and agouti in their background. I would love to have a tort doe or REW carrying tort. How would that cross with agouti I wonder?

Also, when you cross REW with REW you get REW ... even though it is a recessive gene, it is also in the place that determines color expression ... so the c will always over ride any other color in the other loci.

But, that then opens up the blending and dyeing possibilities :bouncy:

Yep, I am seeing the value of REW in those circumstances.

It depends on what's in the agouti's back ground. I the agouti can hide all of those colors, black, REW, and the non extension needed for tort. You could potentially get any color. My agoutis carry black,chocolate, REW and dilute, and one had the Harlie gene. If you want to get the most color assortment, I'd go for an agouti with a colorful pedigree.
