Queenpup took a bath tonight, and no, it isn't her that made the bathroom smell like horse poo...

I decided to use her leftover bath water to bathe Hermione and Sherlock. Apparently, Hermione's preferred perfume these days is Eau de Horse Pasture, which was not readily apparent until she was wet and warm. :x

Sherlock just smelled like wet dog, not being the cologne type of canine:

The exhaust fan and incense have restored the bathroom to its prior status... and now two of our dog pack are pristine and clean!

They're super cute!

Thanks! I love my pooches!

Hermione looks a bit ragged since she has blown her coat, but she's still a pretty girl I think.

Secondly, SWEET bathtub!

Heh! Yeah... I'm a big bath tub fan.

We lived in a 25 foot fifth wheel for a couple of years while we were building our house, which only had a shower and a micro tub that was maybe 15" square. Not really a tub, but rather somewhere to stand while showering.

So to make up for my deprivation and epic suffering, I went a little overboard when choosing my bathtub.

MAN do I ever want that dog!!!

Well, you can't have Sherlock, but you could have one of his pups from Hermione or Switch. :p

Oh yah, the tub caught my eye, too!
We've been in the middle of a remodel for 5 years, swear we'll finish it before the end of spring this time, and part of that is my master bathroom, which I put a 6' soaking tub in.
I'm tall and I'm tired of having to pick which part of me I want under the water when I choose to take a bath. LOL!

lol, I love the first picture. The dog seems to be asking "why? Why must you be doing this to me? What did I do?"

And your other dog, Hermine I believe, looks very similar to mine. Is that the male Australian Shepherd blue merle?

The only down side to having a huge tub is the volume of water needed to fill it. When we built the house, I wanted Hubs to plumb it so we could use the greywater, but he didn't listen.

However, recently our leach field started seeping because Queenpup takes a bath every night (and doesn't skimp on the water!), so he finally installed it a few months ago. The water feeds two of our willow trees, and they couldn't be happier! :p

Lol! You rolled in poo, silly dog! And Sherlock kind of smelled like elk meat.

Nope. Hermione is Levi's daughter.

This is Levi:

Your dog must be just about full grown now. Although if he is like dogs from my lines, he wont really fill out until he is about two, and his coat will just keep getting better.

What is Greywater btw?

I don't know if he's full grown now or not, I'm hoping not. He just turned 1 on the 24 of Dec and he still seems a bit on the small side. The news about his coat continuing to get better is awesome. That is one of the things I love about him is how lush his coat always seems to be. Don't mind the leg hair btw. It's been that way since he broke it. Poor guy still has a limp. Doc said he'll always have it. We consider him part of the family now because of it. We're all weird and couldn't have a dog without some personality.
