Mum feeding?

Hey,
Kits were born at 6pm Monday uk time.
Photo was of last night and video this morning.

what’s peoples thoughts of wether they are being fed or not?
My main concern is the runt, the other looks like it’s gaining quite well.

bith are silent when your bed but very active especially the larger of the 2.
I don’t want to intervene unless necessary.

That black one in the first picture is definitely getting fed! The runt has a small belly to so it’s probably getting fed a little bit.

Would you try and either hold the mum down to try and feed or give some klm milk to supplement? The mum doesn’t like being handled to much so don’t want to cause her any distress…. Thanks so much for your input…. I just want the best for them …. It’s like having human babies this is

As long as the small one does nurse I would not feed other stuff, rabbit milk is something rather special and it's easy to upset that little stomach. That really is last resort.

What you can do is to is take out the fattest kit for one feeding, but with such a small litter I doubt that the issue is too much competition at the milk buffet, don't think that it would help in that case.

As long as the little one gets fed I wouldn't do much, sometimes runts catch up, sometimes not.
