Have you ever heard of Marjory Wildcraft? She is in Texas somewhere and grows moringa. Google "Backyard Food Production" and you should find her site.

i've been thinking of using them too. there is a decent facebook group of people in the USA growing it. tryin to spread it around because its so rare here. seems to do pretty good though. and super nutritious from what i've been reading.

__________ Thu Jan 31, 2013 12:13 am __________

this link is about feeding it to rabbits and nutrient content etc. might be helpful since its not a common plant.

It may work as an annual...it will go dormant over the winter and regrow in spring. You likely won't ever get any seed pods from it, but you should get lots of forage.

which isnt necessarily a bad thing. you can grow more from your one tree via cuttings. you wont have the seedpods (aka drumsticks) but you will still have lots of forage and can still plant more from your established tree with cuttings.
