I just agreed on some more rabbits. I was able to find a breeder in Washington who has a 1 1/2 year old buck and 4 month old doe for sale. I am very excited. A local ARBA Judge and breeder is going to the Rabbit show in Ellensburg Washington next month. He offered to transport and check over the rabbits for me. The buck came out of Benton Ohio. here are the pictures.

Oooh! Very pretty!

How nice of the judge to check them and transport for you! :p

My Beveren buck has a lazy ear like the second bun, but so far, the kits he sired (one litter) still have upright ears.

I am wondering if they will stay up, or if some might flop a bit as they get larger. :?

In any case, I was told that as long as they are kind of "airplaned" out it doesn't count as a DQ, and the judges have never said anything negative about it.

I asked about the funny ear and he said the buck holds it funky. I have some does that will lop their ears when relaxed but when alert holds them erect. I used to be worried about that but not anymore. My Doe doing good at the shows does that to her ears. I feel lucky to have someone who is willing to transport for me.

Well I might not be able to get them after all. My electricity and water water went went up and car registration came up so will have to back out I am so bummed.
