I just showed my daughter Queenpup the tri popple... she wants it too.

"We could go steal it, momma!" says she. "Where do they live?"

"Far away, I think... ah! Arkansas."

"Oh! We could get Uncle J to steal it for us!"

So, if a 6'5" dude is found lurking in your rabbitry this evening, don't mind him. That would be my brother. :twisted:

Is the blue looking baby, the last photo I posted.. is it a Castor as well? I know the others are, but was curious about that one.

I can't see it well, but if it's blue then it is an opal.

In the pic it seemed to be less furred out than the others, but it seems to have a hint of brown on its head near your index finger.

It should be better furred today- can you post an updated pic?

I am going to get updated pictures tomorrow and post. I had planned on doing that today, but I felt very lazy today...lol.

To me, it looks blue.. but I will get a good picture tomorrow and post.

The doe is a harlequinized castor.. and one of her castor babies is also harlequinized. (the first picture posted above of the last 3) Both genes are present and show at the same time. One of the others (second castor pic *may* be as well) You did get a nice tri but I would make sure the castors are sold as being harlequinized and not as pure castors.



PS. I do not see any "blue"? I see a broken castor, a broken black, the tri and the three solid castors... btw the broken black can most likely be used in a tri or a self program no problems!

thank you. I got new pictures today. The one that looked blue ( even in the sun) is in deed a castor. It was not showing much (if any) of the brown look to it.... but is definately showing today. Also, the broken black is showing some brown around the edge of the ears??????
