Hi, I was wondering if anyone can help me with my Mini Lop. She is a little over a year old and she is a gold tip steel but her fur has weird patches that look different than the rest of the coat. Last year when she was about 6 months old she had a perfect color and did really good at our county fair, winning 1st place. But I dont know why its all weird now and she is not shedding. Thanks for your help.088.JPG089.JPG

It may be an optical illusion, but it appears that the light area on her side and flank is longer. Maybe her coat is growing in and is of different lengths?

I had this problem with one rabbit... with mine at least it was due to her only shedding part of her "winter" coat. Since she only shed part she had both winter and summer coat in different patches so it looked all different and uneven. ~shrug~ not sure how to fix it without plucking the out of season coat, which since it isn't shedding would probably hurt so I wouldn't do that, or if she is climate controlled like mine was giving her "seasons" a month or two of it a little warmer compared to normal...not drastically so just enough to even out where her instincts think her fur should be?
