meat rabbits

Could someone direct me to a list of meat rabbit breeders in northern Illinois? My friend has a sick dog and they are having him feed rabbit but he is having a really hard time finding rabbit. He would need it to be butchered first. Thanks

Welcome to the forums, kimmytime. I'd suggest that your friend look in and put an ad in the local Craigslist. I hope the dog gets better.

You could also try and contact a rabbit abattoir / slaughterhouse or raw dog diet forums and Facebook groups as they may know of sources.
