10 year old daughter took her mini rex buck to the fair.. He is about 8 months old. He has nipping but not hard. At fair it was a little stressful not to crazy. He started attacking people. 16 year old daughter went in his cage to fix his food and water dishes and he attacked her viscously. He bit her wrist and left a deep cut then rebite and latched on to her wristband. When I got there he had his teeth clinched onto the band and his eyes closed. He was held by the scruff by daughter. I got a better grip on him and he would not release till daughter flicked his nose. I right away put him in quarantine under the table out of sight and got permission to take home early. Youngest is afraid of him as are everyone else. He has not tried to attack me. Youngest understands we can't keep him as I can not trust him. She understands that I plan to cull him but is upset about the idea of eating him. I would just bury him but I paid $40. For him and want some return. Nice crock pot meal for instance. I have a English Lop buck and his daughter we are considering as meals since they have crappy attitudes. This part of rabbit raising sucks.
