I just pull the skin off at the time of butchering. Use two pair of pliers one needle nose. just start rolling the skin back and insert needle nose and hold ear with another blunt nose plier even with my arthritis the hair and skin came right off. put in the dehydrator over night even though I think they were done in about 5 hrs on 140*F. I just cut the ears off with hand pruners or Loppers. skin at butchering don't let them start to dry out or it gets tougher. My dog was having trouble after eating squirrels two much hair bound her up. no problem with the skinned rabbit ears. What is the best way to peel off the skin (from ears and the head)? My dog barfs furballs if he eats any fur
