We’ve hit a bump in the road and we could use y’all’s help…

We have 3 does and 2 bucks and we can’t get anyone to mate 😢
Our Tamuk doe is 6 months old and runs away from the buck of the same age. He seems highly interested but she wants nothing to do with him. Our veteran dam gets in a cage fight with the young buck and does nothing with the proven buck. She did lose a complete litter in early fall. I don’t know if that scarred her and now she doesn’t want to mate??? We’ve gotten several litters out of her and now she just does nothing in the buck’s hutch.

Any thoughts?

Try putting them in other places to breed, like a separate cage that isn't being used or both in a room
Is she old? That could affect it too

For the 6 month olds I'd just wait longer and try again a few weeks or months later

The buns here are English angora so they always need to be groomed and sheared before mating so their 'naughty bits' will be able to reach. I'll groom the doe first (takes about an hour to shear an angora) and put her in his hutch while grooming him. That gives her an hour to smell his scent while he's getting groomed. Then when the buck is put back in his space, she is usually quite receptive to him. Not sure if that would work for your buns or not, though?
