Looking to get maybe one more broken, red or black NZ. Anyone know of good breeders in Central Texas?

I bought my pedigreed NZWs from http://www.mandmrabbitry.com but as I recall, they also had blacks when I went. Of course, everyone else was also looking for whites at the time.

Real nice setup. Clean as could be. They handle their bunnies so they're friendly and docile, too.

The buck was old enough to breed and I have two litters from him so far. :)

They don't have any. Any other suggestions? Might have to look out of state I guess.

Hi, I raise New Zealand Blacks and Broken Blacks if your are still interested in some. Please PM for contact information.
Thanks,

I did contact the breeder in Crosby and they don't have anything till they decide what they are taking to convention. I am seeing if they might have a solid black buck. Waiting for a response to my last email.
Still looking for another broken black doe to complete my trio.

Considering your location in Texas.......here's a thought.

When I got out of the military...I left the Dallas/Fort Worth area
at nine a.m. and arrived in Harrisonville, Mo. that evening for
supper with my aunt and uncle.

In August the Missouri State Fair will be in full swing for about 10 days.
During that time, there's 3-4 day period for a humongous rabbit show.
Every breed imaginable will be present. A lot of them will be for sale as well.

It may be more of a trip than you wish to take.
But there will be more rabbits in one place than you've ever seen before.

Good Lord willin' and the creek don't rise, I'm planning on being there.

grumpy.

Thanks for the tip Grumpy. Unfortunately that is too far for me at this time. My main backup rabbit babysitter for when I am away just had knee replacement surgery so I have to stay close to home for awhile. I am currently looking for a caretaker while I am at the Longview show. (Mainly b/c it is so hot.)
So I am trying to make any rabbit pick ups a day trip. I do have some new ones being transported mid-August so I am working on stacker cages in the house for a transition area.
Love Texas but the summers are brutal and my property is too small to build a barn.
