For all the things I don't like about this doe she sure does a good job of colony raising. A litter of 9 and now a litter of 6 all raised in a colony of mixed does that did not grow up together. She's one of the bottom of the herd. You know when she's about to have a litter because she finds that box and starts excavating until she's built a 2x3x2'h pile of straw and shavings on and around the box. So long as we keep the rats under control she raises kits.

Not so little colony rabbits (previous litter)

Isn't it lovely to see the kits bouncing all over the colony? My colony is divided now into two floor pens, but the kits can squeeze through from one side to the other and go visiting.

It's not moisture it's dust particles in the air. It always happens when using flash in the stable.
