Some of you may have seen this on FB already, for those who haven't-
Here is my 2.85 week old buck kit practicing his breeding moves on a litter mate!
I had the camera out to take updated pics of the litters and luckily got this on film! I've never seen any of my growers, of any age, practice breeding!

If he ends up the biggest, should I keep him for his enthusiasm? Maybe it's a sign he will be a good breeder?
Video link and a picture!

Well, there is a clear tube sticking right out. It's only the females I may have issues with later.

I've had kits that age doing that....usually means they need their own cage by the time they are 6-8 weeks old as they are just little terrors by then.

The one I kept back turned into an overly aggressive buck and was culled to critter food. Haven't kept one like that since.

He's not pretty either way, lol. Need rabbit for our wedding for smoked and grilled lapin dinner. =D

Wow, that is amazingly early!

I thought mine were ahead of the game doing it around 4 weeks.

I think ladysown is right, he could end up a trouble maker.

If he is exceptional in grow out, maybe breed him to a pretty doe?

If I figure out which of the two dark browns it was, I'll mark it and watch it.

Here's the dirty look he gave me for filming him!
