Lionheads and heat tolerance?

I love the look of lionheads, and their size is great too. I found a breeder who raises them outside year round so they should be acclimated. But I still worry about all that hair. Does anyone keep theirs outdoors in hot weather? I'm in Texas and it can get into the triple digits. I plan on taking preventives of course to keep them cool, but wondering if I should look into a more hardy rabbit breed? Thank you.

I have 3 on grass, they lay on the ground, but aren't breathing hard like my cali, sf or amchin. It's 93F here today.
But then I worry that they may skip a sign because of the fur...so...idk...
