I'm glad you are having success with most of them! I still have ones that struggle at times, but most are doing really well with it.

__________ Sun Feb 19, 2012 9:39 pm __________

Bumping topic for Therian.

Thanks for a very instructional series of pics. I see Flurry still has the "ripple butt". ;)
Unless you have a biter you don't need welders gloves or oven mitts. Rabbits don't claw as cats do. They rake and even a thin pair of driving gloves will protect from that and be far less clumsy to use. Rabbit claws are not shaped to dig into flesh since they aren't predators. They are only to get a better grip on the ground when running and as a last resort method of defense. Few rabbits will hurt you on purpose; it's only accidental when they are struggling.

Thanks, MamaSheepdog!

No problem. Although I feel kind of egotistical bumping my own topic! I wish my flannel jacket was a bit more flattering- they don't seem to make them for women, so I'm stuck wearing the mens version! Alas...

__________ Mon Feb 20, 2012 8:41 am __________

The garden gloves I use are very thin on the back, and you are absolutely right, even that little bit is enough protection. Any long sleeved shirt seems to do as well.
