I often notice my rabbits licking their water containers and other things (often my hand) and get the idea they may be lacking some minerals in their diet.

Wondering if this product Sportsman's Choice Record Rack Apple Flavored Salt Brick is Ok to give to them ?!?

Here's a link to it at TSC http://www.tractorsupply.com/en/store/e ... _vc=-10005

If it is minerals they are missing you need a red mineral block, not just a salt spool. If your pellets contain minerals, they should be fine, but it cannot hurt to offer it.

I really wonder with it being apple flavored they might .... overdo it ?

Rabbits licking your hand at least means they like you. :D
I use chunks of a big livestock salt and mineral block from TSC, but I still get licked...

We use the same type, ones that are about 4" x 6". I put a whole one in each cage, by the looks of it each one should last 6-12 months, and I buy them by the case when they have them on sale, thus saving even more money.
