Kits, momma and a rabbit hole

When we came up to her to feed and water, all we could see was the tip of her butt sticking out of the hole!

Flipped her to feed this kit. I don't think it will make it. I just loved how sweet she was, laying there for so long.

I thought you had wire under your pens- did she dig through it? :shock:

She sure was a sweety, lying there like that. She looks very content, too!

There are a couple pens that don't have wire and this is one of them. Eventually, Greg will get around to putting wire under this one.

I love the chocolate ones too! That's the litter of 11. One black didn't get scraped off this morning and died in the cold and two of the chocolates (not the ones in the picture) are struggling and probably won't make it even though I fostered them to another doe.

It was a runt and wasn't eating. I flipped the doe but it was too weak to suck. It died.

They're all doing very well. I still have one or two fostered with the other doe.

This doe has pulled so much fur! Every time I go out, it looks like I could make a chihuahua from all the fur!
