I know this varies from line to line, but I was wondering if there's a general weight guideline? My oldest kits are 4.5 weeks old and I got weights on everyone. Each kit seems to weigh in at either just over or just under a pound. It just seems small to me. These guys are a Satin meat mutt mix. Sire weighs about 9 pounds, and I haven't weighed their dam, but I'd put her around 7-8 pounds. They just seem so small compared to what I've seen in other people's accounts. I'll be weighing my other litter when they hit 4 weeks old in another day or so and I'll have a comparison then.

I've been free feeding 16% protein pellets, 16% alfalfa cubes, a few tablespoons of mana grow, and they get various greens when I have them... dandelion, banana, cilantro, kale, red lettuce, etc. Just depends on what and when I've got it.

Kitty, mine are the same way. We're lucky if they hit 1.5lbs by a month.

I'm looking into the possibility of cocci now. I really don't think it's cocci (and neither do any of the vets I've spoken to), but it's really the only thing I can try treating for.
