She came in a sniffed my today - WITHOUT growling - when I went to check on the kits. :D

However...I found them a little scattered in the box. They were still grouped, but had expanded the radius. It got up close to 80 today - think they just wanted a little air? Before they were all piled into one little area in the back.

They're also skinnier than Minnow or Mrs Howell's kits were. Could it be the litter size? None of them are emaciated, and they're all very active, they just aren't quite as plump.

They're now 15 days old. =)

All eyes are open and everyone is fat and sassy.

South is MUCH nicer than before! Her mean doe ways seem to be behind her. She is, however, the most voracious eater! She gobbles up each meal and sniffs at us for more food each time.

lol I think its a nursing thing, Mine does the same with her food, she eat 24/7 and still wants more ...It actually shocks me how much she eats....I pick her handful upon handfuls of clover 4 to 5 times a day and she eats all of it,on top pf her pellets and veggies and BREAD, I gave her 1/4 of a loaf she ate it all

OMG! She looked like a tick with a mouthful of fur!

Congrats on the popples. :)

Since there was so much blood, I would highly recommend bringing her a tasty treat and taking the nest out for a check. I just had a doe kindle with a lot of blood, and her nest was SOAKED, popples not cleaned, and they were getting chilled.

Glad the popples are doing well, despite not being quite as large as the other doe's.

They've made up the difference. None of them have extremely round bellies, but they're growing VERY fast. I'm hopeful for this litter!
