I have 4 pregnant rabbits. I breed tort and broken tort mini rexes and californians meat rabbits. They are all pedigreed and are very sweet. I have one doe named Cinnabon who is a tort mini rex whos 31st is tomorrow. And her daughter who is pregnant for her first time (worried and hope she will be a natural mother) named Dipper she i a broken tort mini rex. I have one mini rex buck who is (Pumkin patch) and I bred him and dipper together. I have heard that you should not breed two brokens together. Will this make the kits have bad coloring? Then I have 2 Californian does that are bred. One is for my 4-h market pen her name is Big Mama and she is due May 9th. And then Nola my other Californian doe who is kind of a mystery. She was not suppose to be bred but is. I had some family over for a cook out and my 7 year old cousin got the rabbits mixed up. And I was wondering if she was and then I palpated her and felt some jelly-like grape figures in their. And I have no clue when she is due but probably any day now. She is pretty big and the babies are too. From what i could fell they are a little bigger than a golf ball. And she has built a nest (but not pulled fur) and lays down almost 24/7. She is also very aggressive now and grunts at me when I feed her and pounces on my hands when I feed her. Anyone wanna give me and estimate on how many days you think she is? Thanks! So excited for all of these little buggers that are about to be born but not looking forward to all the poop that I am going to be shoveling. :lol: :bunnyhop:
