Kaze died

My parrot died very suddenly last night. My husband walked by and Kaze was eating his treat stick and gave 2 chirps at him. Then he came back a few minutes later and Kaze was laying on the floor of the cage wings spread. He must have choked on something or had a heart attack and fell off his perch.

Oh, no!!! I am so sorry, Akane. Those sudden deaths are so hard on the animal owners... although probably more merciful for the animal concerned. I hope when it comes time for my moggie, Marilla, to go that it is sudden and without warning. I'll cry all the more... while being relieved that at least I did not have to intervene and make that last hard choice for her. (((HUGS)))

Awe I'm so sorry to hear that.. You can take him in to the vet for a necropsy if you wanted to know the specifics of why happened.
