Ideas on what this plant is??

the nest from grass.hay and whatnot will be safe.

the flower....does it stink? reminds me of a plant we get around here that I don't feed....

Good to see pics of your critters. :)

No idea if it stinks or not. Only plant like it on the property and wanted to know what it was before I clear cut all the growth around the tank.

Yea, someone on another forum suggested that. Realized I have more of them and they grow 8in and flower or 4.5ft and flower. They come back after being mowed and over 2ft snow in winter.
Seem more like weeds than a little poisonous tree.

I have a doe who makes her nest from pulled grass she gets an attitude when I give her pineshavings.

Haha, that hoe is just 3ft long, if that. Found it at this house, broken when I found it. Don't see a point in caring that much for it. It's usually in the coop for winter scraping, but not too why I haven't brought it back in.

I don't bother with shavings now that it's warm, they never use them, always shoved into a corner. I put in a bunch of grass hay in the nest, then more in her pen. She used all of that, then all the grass she's pulled from 6 different grass spots. Lastly she pulled all of her fur and I kept taking it out.

oh okay, well, sorry then. That stuff is the devil to irradicate if you let it go to seed.

It looks exactly the same as the 'tree', can't find many real pics of it. Always in bloom or 4-5ft tall. Makes me wonder if it's all the same or not.
Yea, there's some prickly cones on some of em, green w/spikes. I just mow over them and call it a day.
Worse plant to deal with is the prickly sow thistle. That shyt grows 5ft tall, pain in the bum to mow it down, takes several passes and mower can get stuck on the danged stuff. Drives me nuts when I back up to one...owie!
