I've begun the weaning process. Taking 2 out per day till the momma is all alone and dried up. I want to put the kits up for sale starting next week. I can't tell the difference between does and bucks yet though. Is it basically mandatory that you know the sex before you start selling them? I would imagine most anyone that's interested will want to know that right?

Most States require the rabbits to be 8 weeks old before you can legally sell them.

I'm in Texas...there isn't a permitted needed to sell them is there? They will be exactly 8 weeks when I start selling them

Yes, people will want to know, but you can explain that you can't tell yet. If you're open and relaxed about it, most people won't mind. Those who do mind are welcome to buy elsewhere.

And someone might even be able to teach you how.

You need to check your local laws before you sell. In my area of NM, it flat illegal to sell pets, though that's poorly enforced.
