New here, and this is my first post. Still learning about rabbit husbandry, and thought I'd give the forum a shot.

We have NZ Whites. One of the does has a small amount of irritation in both of her ear canals. I have heard to use a few drops of mineral oil to clear it up.

Thoughts? Experiences? Recommendations?

Thanks in Advance for your input!

First off, Welcome!
The oil should help, just be carefull when she shakes her head, you could get anointed. :)
On the bottom left corner, of these threads, are suggestions of "Similar Topics" and this link is there.
So, if the irritation is ear mites, this link should help
options-for-ear-mites-t10404.html
again

What does the irritation look like? If it's scab-like crusted stuff on the inside of the ear it's probably ear mites in which case its as piper said. I personally used cooking oil...I figured I was going to eat him anyway, might as well get him used to the idea. It worked and all my mites left. Some people use ivermectin as well. There is a whole plethora of stuff I've seen people say they used.

Lost Creek - you did not say if your rabbits were for meat.
- I do not use drugs on my meat rabbits, and I think oil, oil/sulfur or NuStock - would be the way to go.
