I’m in a pinch to treat a stuck shut eye. My antibiotic ointment has the pain killer in it so can’t use it. Is this safe? I know some ingredients are fine, just not sure about the grapefruit essential oil and hyaluronic acid. This cream has silver in it to be antimicrobial.

Silver, Purified Water, Coconut oil (Cocos nucifera), Emulsifying Wax, Stearic Acid, Vitamin E (Tocopherol), Glycerin, Hyaluronic Acid, Grapefruit Essential Oil.

Uhm, skin cream for the eye?

I would give it a wash with sterile saline solution - just water, with 2% salt (per weight), boiled for a few minutes and used when cool enough.
Its marketed as skin cream, because it can be used that way but it’s also for minor skin issues and cuts/irritations and that’s how we use it in our house. Not as lotion. It’s literally no different than an antibiotic ointment which is always suggested, but natural. The eye needs more than cleaning with saline. Its red and irritated. It needs treatment. I plan to clean and chamomile wash, but wondering if this would be safe. Silver, coconut oil, vit E etc are all perfectly safe to apply and fight infection and better than antibiotic cream when trying to keep things natural. I’m only wondering about the two other ingredients. If not safe, I’ll just apply silver water. But i would prefer a cream to soak in rather than water to dry.

I think if the cream got in his eye it would burn. Around his eye I think would be fine if he didn't get it in his eye. I'd personally use neosporn ointment as the cream burns. Try it on you first. Maybe it doesn't burn... I know the neosporn cream burns from personal experience.

Herbs for eye
golden rod , echinacea, plantain, chamomile as a eye wash and not all together but singular.

We use it often and it doesn’t burn. I decided to give it a try, no issues and the eye looks almost normal now today! I definitely don’t put it directly in the eye.
