I'm.curious...when do your does start pulling hair???

I've heard that it be anywhere from a few hours to a few days before labor is norm....however my does usually don't pull until after kindling. Or at least immediately before. I'm.asking because one was pulling all day yesterday and I was 100% sure I would find a litter this morning and nothing. I'm sure it will happen today.

Anyways I'm just curious what's the norm for you all. And are your does consistent or are they all over the place like mine? This one doe has been acting bizarre this pregnancy so I was thinking it might be false but today is day 31 so I guess I'll find out soon enough

I had one pulling on day 20, and she still acts pregnant (today is day 32). It really varies, but in my experience any hair pulling between days 16-18 is for sure false pregnancy around here. Day 31 I think you are good. JMO, but keep us posted!

Mine have planned ahead better on litters after the first. For the first timers it has been just before and following birth.

Immediately before kindling almost always.
I expect to see a litter within the hour when I see fur.
