I'm very soft heart when it comes to most animals and thus ended up bringing home these little ones yesterday. The two single ones are my two while the rest I bought for my mom.
My two single ones are Bantams, there are a total of four bantams not knowing if they are male or female, the two black ones have feathered feet (so my little black on and my mom's black and sliver one) while the other two have normal feet. Three "rare" "female" breed are the large yellow ones all with feathery feet.
And my mom wants to get more baby chicks after she gets paid so I'll be adding more photos to this if she does get more.

Aww- they are cute! We have two black silkie chicks right now. Ours are in a plastic bin too!

Curlysue, mine are only about a week and a day old as they where hatched on March 29th and shipped to the store March 30th.

MSD, I wasn't gonna give up a rabbit cage for them so my mom made my dad clean out the plastic tub.

I just realized I owe pictures here of the new chicks. Well all of them since I wasn't about to pick up the chicks right now to get pictures of 'em. Second picture is basically all the new ones.

Who can resist little cheepers? My husband and I went chick crazy this year. We're replacing or layer flock so we have 25 white Leghorn chicks and 8 Golden Sexlink chicks in the brooders. Hoping for a rooster or two, odds are 1 in 10 even with pullets.

Tubs and water tanks work great for chicks! The plastic water troughs get cracks in them over time (our horses are rough on them) and the metal ones rust out, we keep them around for brooding chicks and also as flower planters.
