My doe has made it to day 18 with no early nesting (in her false pregnancy she nested on day 17). I tried palpating on day 13 and was pretty sure I felt something. I think we'll be having bunnies on or around the 29th. Hooray!!

Well...maybe not... I woke up to this. Sorry for the blurry pic, no coffee in my system yet, but that is a huge mound of fur she pulled over night. She also spent a bit of time haystaching while I made my coffee. We're on day 19.

I really hope she's just an early nester, but if she's missed two times in a row (with 4 covers this time) I don't know what I'll do. I had a hard enough time finding these two because no one in my province breeds English Angoras anymore.

-- Sun May 17, 2015 11:49 am --

Hopeful that this time is different.

The first time she nested early she was frantic. Didn't eat or drink or stop for even 2 minutes.

Today I haven't really seen her eat or drink, but she's relaxed. She'll get up and fuss with her nest for a couple of minutes and then go relax. She won't let me touch her, but that seems to be pretty normal for her when she's going through pregnancy/false pregnancy.
