I have a nester....

I put the nest box in with KK the black Jersey Wooly, and she has been scratching around ever since. It only has care fresh in it at this moment but I think I should probably put some hay in there for her asap. She is due Thursday. I am so excited because It will be my first Jersey Wooly litter. But I am very nervous too because I have lost all my litters thus far. I just pray that these ones make it or are peanuts so that I know why they didn't make it.

The Woolies are all in the house so I can keep a good eye on them. The kids are not allowed anywhere near the cages right now either. I don't want anything going wrong this time.

Oh my goodness, I don't think I can stand the suspense of waiting till She has them.

This is a black doe bred to a pointed black buck who carries shaded in his back ground. I can't wait to see what I get out of this cross.

Showoff still isn't nesting, but the two Rex that I bred the day after her are. No popples this morning, although I was expecting them because of their behavior last night. If I have to miss out on a litter of JW's from Showoff so you get yours, I will gladly make the sacrifice!

Thanks Sky. I think we are getting rid of most of our meat mutts that we bought a guy out of. They are just not working out well. I think I am going to stick to the dwarf breeds for the most part. Though I do have one BIG project going.
