We have tons of spiders in the rabbit/goose house but I have yet to see one on the hay. The mostly hang out in webs on the windows and in the corners. I used to be a bit phobic about spiders, but living here I managed to desensitize myself and I can now pretty much ignore them. One advantage to having spiders... very few flies!
